The Auckland frame is modelled from eco-friendly, New Zealand farmed, Radiata Pine for strength and durability. Its strength is derived from the thick supporting underails ensuring many years of excellant service from this traditional futon product.

It converts in one easy movement from a seat to a bed. The Futon mattress is offered in a choice of fillings, either standard or Unique, see our About Us page for details. The futon mattress uses a 6 layer combination of cotton, woolfelt and polyester and is designed to combine comfort with a long lasting product.

We would also recommend the Auckland as suitable for an everyday bed base, but would suggest upgrading the futon mattress with an extra woolfelt layer if this is your intention. Select from the menu below or call us if you are unsure.
